CARB California Activity Pattern Surveys (CAPS)
DATASET
The California Air Resources Board (CARB) sponsored two activity patterns surveys in the late 1980's and early 1990's. One study was a California survey of adults and youth (n = 1742), and the other was a California survey of children (n=1200). Both these surveys measured minute-by-minute activity diaries over a 24-hour period using a computerized telephone instrument.
